Free entry route

Every PrizeCrate competition can be entered free of charge by post. Postal entries go into exactly the same draw as paid entries, with exactly the same chance of winning. This page tells you precisely how to do it.

How to enter by post

  1. Take an unenclosed postcard (not a letter in an envelope) and write on it, clearly and legibly:
    • Your full name
    • Your full postal address including postcode
    • Your email address (used for your account and winner contact)
    • A contact telephone number
    • Your date of birth (entrants must be 18 or over)
    • The exact name of the competition you are entering, as shown on the competition page
    • Your answer to that competition’s skill question — postal entries with no answer or a wrong answer are not entered into the draw
  2. Post it first class to the address below. One postcard = one entry. You may send multiple postcards, but each must be posted separately and individually — bundled or photocopied cards count as one entry. Per-person ticket limits apply to postal entries too.
  3. Your postcard must arrive before the competition closes. Entries arriving after the close (or after a competition sells out) are entered into the next suitable competition where possible, or discarded. Proof of posting is not proof of receipt.

What happens to your entry

Valid postal entries are keyed into the draw by our team, allocated the next available ticket number, and appear in the entry list exactly like a paid ticket. If we have an account matching your email address the entry is attached to it; otherwise we create a free account so we can contact you if you win. Postal entries are eligible for the main draw and are treated identically in the provably fair draw calculation.

Same odds — genuinely

The draw does not know or care how an entry was made. Every entry, paid or postal, is one ticket number in the same sorted list, and the winning index is computed over that list. You can confirm this yourself using the draw verifier.

The fine print

Entrants must be 18+ and UK residents. Illegible, incomplete or late postcards cannot be entered. We’ll never charge postal entrants anything beyond their own postage. The free entry route is covered in full in our terms & conditions.
